Top Fly Fishers to Share Expertise at Florida Fly Fishing Expo

The 2016 Florida Fly Fishing Expo has announced an expanding list of top-tier professionals to share their fly casting and fly tying secrets at Plantation on Crystal River Nov. 4-5. The two-day Expo will feature indoor and outdoor seminars, demonstrations and workshops for fly fishers of all skills levels and ages, male and female. It will also feature resource-awareness exhibits and indoor and outdoor displays of the newest fly rods, reels, lines, clothing, kayaks, flats boats and more.

Six more seminar presenters join three others that were announced earlier — tarpon tournament champion Andy Mill, Jon Cave of the Jon B. Cave Complete Fly Fishing School, and trophy guide and fly tier Blane Chocklett. The Florida Council of the International Federation of Fly Fishers, which presents the annual Fly Expo, announced the following presenters and subjects for the two-day event:
– Dave Olson will demonstrate and share his tips for making longer fly casts. Olson has won long distance fly casting competitions with casts of more than 130-feet.
