The Wulffs: Two fly fishing legends get their own films

When we learned this fall about the initial funding for films about Lee Wulff and Joan Salvato Wulff, we were happy not just that the these two legends would get the film tributes they deserved, but also that all of the archival footage and images that record their remarkable lives would be preserved.

Film restorating technology has come a long way in just ten years, and many of the things that these two incredible fly fishers did could be captured only with moving images. Jeffrey Pill, whose long list of credits include being a senior producer at ABC and a producer for David Wolper as well as being the producer of some of the most popular fly-fishing DVDs in history, will write, produce and direct. Other talented members of the team include Frank Shurz, Doug Kluthe, Stephen Jones, Robert Hanna, and Richard K. Allen. Read more about the upcoming films here. They promise to be remarkable.
