Fly Tying Class January 25 in St. Petersburg, Florida

Suncoast Fly Fisher Bruce Evensen restarts his monthly Introduction to Fly Tying class on Thursday, January 25 at 7 pm. Fly tiers will meet in the conference room at High Performance Plumbing Services at 4450 Morris Street in St. Petersburg. Classes will continue on the fourth Thursday of each month. At the monthly meetings (on the third Thursday of each month) Bruce will announce the name of the fly that will be tied that month.

Fly Casting Intro at St. Pete Beach, Florida

Try a new and challenging sport. Tom Gadacz and Brian Clark will continue offering free fly casting lessons on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 6 to 8 pm at Egan Field, 9101 Blind Pass Road, St. Pete Beach. The class is designed for beginners with little or no fly casting experience. If you have a fly rod please bring it; if not we will have the necessary equipment. There is no fee for the session but the class is limited to 10 people and it is necessary to sign up at the St. Pete Beach Community Center in person at 7701 Boca Ciega or by calling +1 727-363-9245. Suncoast Fly Fishers is a Charter club of the International Federation of Fly Fishers.
