High praise from Guideline for its Elevate Series

Swedish fly fishing tackle manufacturer, Guideline, has high praise for its Elevate range of rods. The company describes them as the best ever rod series it has created in its price range. “The looks, components, low weight, finish and balance are all remarkable,” it boasts. “This is a complete range with a total of 18 models, starting with an ultra-sweet 7’6” #3 and finishing with a powerful, yet light 14’ 8” #10/11 and covering everything in between.”

The lighter single-handed models have a smooth, powerful action that accepts a wide variety of casting strokes and styles. From line weights six and up, they have faster and more charged actions, offering a well-defined recovery kick during the cast. The actions of the well balanced and light double-handed rods are developed to suit a modern Scandinavian casting style with a short stroke range for effective and effortless fishing.

Swedish fly fishing tackle manufacturer, Guideline, says that the Elevate is the best rod series it has made in its price bracket.

“The Elevate Series offers outstanding value for money and features a performance that is hard to equal,” adds Guideline. “We produce these rods in the same factory as our premium Fario CRS models and incorporate construction ‘know-how’ from that process.”
Hi Grade/Hi Strain graphite in multiple strains offers low weight, fast recovery speed and durability. The custom designed 3A cork quality grips are assembled with lightweight reel seats.
The frames and stripping guides prevent excessive tangling and add to the cool look. Guideline has opted for hard chrome single leg guides because it says it finds them light and strong, marginally interfering with the blank action. The four-piece rods come in a cloth rod bag and light, strong rod tube.
