TFO Elbi Sea Trout series
Wholesale company Elberse International, based in the Netherlands, has developed two fly-rods with the European coastal seatrout in mind and they are thankful to Temple Fork Outfitters (TFO) for producing these special rods for them!
The firm has produced two rods, a 9’6″ #6 and a 9’6″ #7.
With a fast action for distance casting but enough ‘bend’ so that it’s not too stiff while playing the fish.
For detail Peter Elberse took a silver coloured blank and added a seatrout image on the rod and on the rod bag.
The fly rod for the line class #6 has a slightly softer action than the fly rod for the line class #7.
A saltwater resistant reel-holder with two rings for a secure grip of the foot of the fly-reel.
A nicely made cork grip that will also accommodate larger hands.
There are two stripping guides on both rods.
The snake guides will transfer the energy of casting to the fly-line fluently.
The female ferrules are protected with extra windings of thread and laquer.
The light weight tip ring with which both rods are equipped.
The dots on the blank have a different colour on the line class #7 rod so parts do not get mixed up.
The first badge of rods will come in a silver aluminium tube and will retail at 349,- Euro.
Both rods come in four piece versions for easy transport.
The signature of the master…
The extra length of the 9’6” comes in handy when there are high waves or a steep wall behind the caster.
