Southern Saltwater Fly Fishing Magazine, a quarterly digital publication, launched its premier issue this weekend and is live at www.southernsaltwaterflyfishing.com. The 126 page publication is headed by veteran writer and editor, Jimmy Jacobs of Marietta, Georgia. The focus of the lavishly illustrated title is to position itself as a largely destination, lifestyle saltwater fly fishing publication that covers waters from the Chesapeake to Galveston as well as the Caribbean to Costa Rica.

Southern Saltwater Fly Fishing Magazine is the newest member of the Southern Unlimited, LLC’s fishing division which also includes Southern Trout, Southern Kayak Fishing and Southern Trout “Ozark Edition” magazines according to publisher, Don Kirk.

“We’re pleased with the Southern Saltwater Fly Fishing Magazine launch which has a “Close Look” section on the Golden Isles of Georgia,” says Kirk who founded the parent company in 2012. “This will be the final fishing title launch for 2017. We have tentative plans for one to two hunting/survival publications to join our single hunting title, North American Bear Hunter Magazine.”
