TAKE ACTION: EPA Proposing to Roll Back Protections for Bristol Bay!

At the IFTD Show

After a backroom settlement with the Pebble Limited Partnership in May, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to remove the protections that the agency put forward in 2014. These common sense restrictions on the disposal of mining waste in two of Bristol Bay’s most prolific watersheds were requested by Alaskans and supported by 1.5 million Americans during a very transparent public process.

Putting America First should mean protecting the world’s most productive wild salmon fishery, its $1.5 billion in annual economic impact, the 14,000 jobs it supports, and a globally recognized sporting destination.

Tell the EPA to not cave in to the small foreign company behind Pebble Mine and keep the protections in place that ensure the productivity of this fishery for generations to come.

Comment deadline October 17.

Fish First.
Pebble Never.
