Hodgman releases new fall outerwear.
Hodgman® cut its teeth on developing gear that keeps anglers fishing, even in the elements. Coming this fall, are a few new Hodgman Aesis™ Jackets that build a barrier against inclement weather and keep focus where it should be – on the fish.
Constructed of the highest quality, Hodgman Aesis jackets possess intuitive features that benefit anglers at every turn of the creek. The Aesis jackets for fall or winter use include the Aesis 3-in-1 Shell Jacket, Aesis HyperDry™ Down Jacket and Aesis Soft Shell.
For anglers battling a wide variety of conditions, the Aesis 3-in-1 Shell Jacket is the all-around answer. The two-layer VTecH™ construction doesn’t allow water to enter and the fully taped seams guard against unwanted moisture. The removable inner jacket is a Thinsulate™ insulation piece designed to be worn inside waders while the outer waterproof/windproof shell is meant to be worn on the outside of the waders. This systems-based jacket inspires confidence to go beyond the limits of conventional outerwear.
For years goose down jackets have been sought after by mountaineering experts due to the lightweight insulating properties and avoided by anglers due to the lack of warmth in moist environments. Hodgman merged the best of both worlds to solve this problem by using Allied® HyperDry pure goose down, which utilizes nanotechnology to successfully repel water, increase loft and speed drying time.
Hodgman was founded in 1838 and has been a consistent provider of fishing waders for over 175 years. Prior to this, anglers simply did not get into the water, warm or cold, fearing adverse health impacts from the exposure.
