Jackson Kayak launches ‘reborn’ version of popular Cuda

The Cuda series of fishing kayaks have been a bestseller for Jackson Kayak and a firm favourite among novice anglers looking for a great entry level craft.

The company has followed it up with the launch of the Liska, which it describes as a ‘reborn’ version of the Cuda series. Compared to the Cuda 12, Liska is shorter at 12ft 1in, but wider at 34 inches. It also increases the total capacity to 340lb to accommodate the new specifications.

According to Jackson, the Liska will be of particular interest to anglers who are used to flat water conditions, but who want a more portable model than those that are typically available in larger, heavier kayaks.

The width of the hull also ensures a more comfortable fit for larger paddlers and those who want to take more gear on their fishing trip. The stability also means it is easier to stand up.

Jackson Kayak has added a Hi-Lo Ergo seat system that is track mounted to provide anglers with infinite trimming fore and aft. It is also removable. Other notable features include a centre hatch, accessory track, multiple rod, tackle and deck storage options, plus a paddle holder and moulded handler on the stern. It is also transducer ready.
It will be available in Spring next year from Jackson Kayak dealers.
