Glenda Powell can now confirm that her first Ladies Salmon Fishing Course on the Tay is fully booked with six ladies. Due to the demand and further interest she will be running a second Ladies Salmon fishing Course starting on Monday July 2nd and running for three days finishing on Wednesday evening at 5pm. The course will be run near Perth at Kercock, website: http://www.kercock.com.
“There will be a maximum of six ladies on the course and the entire beat has been reserved for this course for the three days to give us lots of space and full use of the fantastic hut to enable learning.
We will cover all the Roll/Spey casts, knot tying, safety around water and safe wading techniques, the salmon lifecycle, taking times and which flies to use for different water heights/colour and temperature.
We will be staying at the Tayside Hotel which is only ten minutes from Kercock and they will provide us with a single room each, breakfast, packed lunch for the river and an evening meal. The total cost of the package for the four nights accommodation with meals and the three day fly fishing for salmon course including fishing and equipment is € 800.
This course is based on learning but also it is about enjoying your fishing and having a good time on the water with other women. I will be happy to welcome you to this course.”
