Why don’t you make a switch?

The Orvis Hydros HD Switch fly-line is the result of the growing demand by fly-fishers for lines with which they can make switch and Spey casts as well as regular overhand casts with the still increasing number of switch fly-rods on the market.

The Hydros HD Switch fly-line is made in the USA and it features a functional 35 foot / 10,68 meter head with a moderate length front taper and a compact back taper. The overall line length is 125 feet or a little over 38 meter. The dual textured surface provides more distance when casting, less memory and increased durability.

You can cast single or double hand with this fly-line, using overhead casts or a variety of Spey or roll and switch casts. The line sits higher in the water which means it is easier to mend and pick up, provides less drag and less water spray when making your casts.

The Integrated Slickness provides lubrication for maximum distance in casting, performance and durability. The micro-textured surface increases shootability and flotation while decreasing friction.

The Orvis Hydros HD Switch fly-line comes with a front loop, so it is easy to attach a leader to it or to exchange leaders when the conditions change. The line also has a Line ID, so it is easy to identify the type of line and weight.
