At the London Fly Fishing Fair I picked up a copy of the book “Destination Angler” written by my friend Dave Lewis at the Flatsbag booth; Dave was present there on the Saturday of the show. The 270 pages book contains at least eight chapters on fly fishing, so it is of interest to the fly-fisher as well.

Dave Lewis has traveled the world over in the last thirty plus years, exploring new waters with fly and regular tackle but also guiding groups of anglers to catching different hard fighting species.
In the book he writes, among other species, about fly-fishing for tarpon, bonefish, stripers, tigerfish, dorado and sailfish. For this he traveled to (exotic) destinations like the Florida Keys, Cape Cod, Tanzania, Costa Rica, the Zambezi River, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Argentina, Belize etc.
Dave writes in a practical and entertaining way about his adventures, the book will be in my suitcase for my upcoming travels for sure!
