During the auction and barbecue evening on the first day of the Dutch Fly Fair, the organisation of the show presented the Jan Schreiner Award to Rudy van Duijnhoven for his many years of promoting fly fishing in writing, photography, demonstrations and courses.

The large engraved piece of glass will be on the desk of Rudy for two years, after which it will be handed out to another person. Rudy can keep a smaller version of the award.
