Flymen Fishing Company announced they are now shipping the new and improved “soft-bite” version of their Surface Seducer Double Barrel Bass Bug, which won Best Of Show – Fly Freshwater at the 2017 International Fly Tackle Dealer Show in Orlando, Florida.
“We’ve taken a great popper and made it even better.” Said Martin Bawden, founder of Flymen Fishing Company and head product designer. “The most important thing we’ve done to improve the Bass Bug is we have completely eliminated hard epoxy and are now using a flexible epoxy. I feel very confident in saying this is not only the best performing popper, but it’s also the toughest, most durable popper on the planet.”
Martin and the Flymen team proved their point by putting the Bass Bug 2.0 to the toughness test with a hammer in this video.
