Even though roach, rudd, ide, bream, perch etc. are seldom found in clear waters in the harbours in winter, I am sure that the Orvis Clearwater Set for a line class #3 is a great tool to fish these waters. And for many other waters too!

The set consists of a 10’ #3 Clearwater fly-rod, the Orvis Clearwater Large Arbor II fly-reel and the Orvis Clearwater fly-line in a WF3F.

 

 

The four piece 10 feet / 3,05 meter Clearwater fly-rod for the line class #3 has a moderate action. It is also recommended for the European style of nymphing for trout and grayling. The whole new series consists of 27 models!

 

 

The Clearwater Large Arbor is a die cast aluminium reel that is lightweight with a powerful disc drag that can hold it’s own with high-performance machined reels. The Orvis Clearwater Large Arbor II has a weight of 153 grams and can hold a WF5F and 90 meters of 20 lb backing.

 

 

The bright yellow WF3F fly-line has a length of 90 feet / 27,4 meters. This entry-level fly-line is designed to aid the inexperienced fly-caster, the half size heavy line helps to load the rod. The compact head (4 feet front taper, 22,5 feet belly and 4 feet rear taper) helps to turn over the leader and will transfer the energy more efficiently. Sleek and durable welded loops makes leader attachment quick and easy. The line comes with Integrated Slickness and Line ID.
