Fly fishing for carp is a welcome change in the midsummer period. Especially when it is nice and hot for a long time, the carps are especially active and looking for food. With the fly rod you can experience a very exciting sight fishing.
You need a # 7 fly rod, a large arbor fly reel with a good brake and sufficient backing, a floating line, a leader (with a tippet of 0.25mm or 0.30mm) and various baits like bread flies, damsel nymphs, squirmy wormy. Helpful is a boat. We had a paddle board from BOTÉ with us. This is also ideal for pike fishing. In the movie you can learn how we outsmart the carp!
