This international movie and video competition was held for the 25th time, in close co-operation with the Jagd und Hund hunting show / Fisch und Angel angling show in the Messe Dortmund. The show was held from the 28th of January until the 2nd of February of this year, the announced of the prize winners was on Thursday the 30th of January.

Professional as well as non-professional movie makers could send in their work for this competition. A jury decided about the prizes and the winners were invited to come to Dortmund for the prize giving event. The winners in the categories Hunting, Nature and Angling were honoured in a worthy fashion.

 

 

Michael Komuczki has, in close co-operation with the ÖKF FishLife (Österreichisches Kuratorium für Fischerei und Gewässerschutz), made a film on the threats for the fish stocks in the Donau area. For this he received a second place in the category “Doku- / Angling Film”. A recognition for this special subject and the professional labour that Michael and his friends Walter Mayer (Angler/Camera), Christian Brandl (CB-RECORDS/Music/Spoken words) and others have put into this movie. Michael Komuczki received another award for his movie on carp fishing in the Donau area!
