Andrew Harding is one of the most consistent producers of high quality, New Zealand trout fishing imagery. His videos and images appear regularly on FlyLife and around the world in a wide range of publications.

A mad keen fly fisherman, Andrew is well known for spending a month every season in his camper van, on the road with his best mate Dan Thomas and if there is a trout that these two haven’t been able to entice then we doubt anyone has.

In FlyLife’s milestone issue 100, Andrew provided the imagery for Dougal Rillstone’s lovely reflection on the Mataura River. The image of Dan hooked up and ripping line off the water with a golden evening spray invoked that magical hour at dusk on the Mataura that those who have fished it know all too well. The image just screamed cover, with its golden hues lending itself to an equally majestic gold embossed masthead.
