First US Fly Fishing Show of 2021 postponed with others in the series under review

The first in The Fly Fishing Show series of events across the US scheduled to take place in 2021 has been postponed because of the ongoing COVID pandemic.

The Denver show, originally due to take place from January 8th to 10th, has been switched to April 30th to May 2nd. Ben Furimsky, CEO of The Fly Fishing Show, added that an announcement will be made regarding other events due to take place during the first half of the schedule – Marlborough and Edison – on November 9th.

The Fly Fishing Show covers six locations across the US, all taking place annually in the first three months of the year.

The Fly Fishing Show covers six locations across the US, all taking place annually in the first three months of the year. Other venues include Atlanta (Georgia), Pleasanton (California) and Lancaster (Pennsylvania) so the situation regarding COVID-19 in each location has to be assessed on an individual basis.

Update

“We will continue to observe the situation regarding the later shows and will deliver an update next month. We ask that exhibitors continue to be patient with us as we remain vigilant on the situations in all our remaining show locations,” said Furimsky.

“Deposits will remain safe for refunds until we make the decisions. We have not been charging the final balance until the plans are clear. All contracts and deposits will lock in a booth for the 2022 shows at the 2021 pricing if we defer.”
