Sight-fishing brown trout in a small stream

Jensen Fly Fishing: When setting out after extreme conditions of flood, drought, or spring after a harsh winter, you never know what you’ll find on your favorite brown trout stream. In this video we’ve come off an extended period of harsh conditions and essentially going for a long walk in hopes of making a discovery – as it turned out we each were gifted one cast each to gorgeous brown trout. It’s what we expected and for the love of walking a favorite valley we set forth. The one brown trout each we came upon shone for the camera in each its own way! Sight-fishing brown trout in these small trout streams on a beautiful day is one of life’s great joys. 🙂
