Mission Huchon (Trailer) – Official Selection, IF4™ 2021

Every year, The Fly Fishing Spirit have made a habit of taking up a challenge to conquer a new species, but this year we have just experienced an quarantine. We were able to go to central Europe to the banks of the Danube river experienced weeks bursting with memorable moments. In these Balkans we are seeking the mighty “Danube Salmon” in some of the most beautiful tributaries of this big river. There is a small but important detail, we followed this fish for hours and hours, but only trying to catch it by sight nymphing! What a mission!

Having kids and still pursuing a passion for fly fishing can be a challenge. For this Colorado couple though, sharing the sport with their children has brought new depth, patience, and an even stronger desire to preserve the rivers they love for generations to come.
