FROZEN FEATHERS | Fly Fishing in EXTREME Winter Conditions | Montana Cast & Blast

October in Montana. A month when the weather is extremely unpredictable. After booking this trip months in advance, we had no idea what the weather would hold for us. Well, we drew the short stick, this time. Negative temps and gnarly wind were there to welcome us as we rolled into Ennis. We spent 4 days fishing in some of the most extreme winter conditions we’ve ever fished in. Frozen guides, frozen boots, and some frozen reels were all in the equation but we still managed to find fish. AND we even got into some duck hunting action…
