RIO’s InTouch series of fly lines are built with an ultra-low stretch core, called “ConnectCore”. These lines have 6% stretch – compared to regular lines that have about 30% stretch. That means your average 100 ft long InTouch fly line, will only stretch out to 106 ft before breaking. Most other lines will stretch to about 130 ft before breaking – that’s a lot of stretch!
Our flagship bonefish line is the DirectCore Bonefish line, built with a long head and rear taper, and made on our low-stretch, low-memory DirectCore. It is the best choice of line for longer casts, more experienced anglers, and for fishing out of a flats boat.
