Costa del Mar names new CEO

Holly Rush has been named as CEO of Costa following the retirement of Chas MacDonald.

US fishing sunglasses manufacturer, Costa Del Mar, has named Holly Rush as its new CEO following the retirement of Chas MacDonald. Rush has enjoyed a 25-year career in the luxury, beauty and consumer goods market, where she has held key leadership roles with companies that include Duracell/Gillette, L’Oreal and most recently, Luxottica. She joined the eyewear industry in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Sales at Luxottica and was later promoted to President of Wholesale North America in 2014.

She has both the strategic vision and operational know-how to drive results that will lead Costa to its next stage of growth globally. We are excited to have Holly contributing to Essilor’s mission, ‘Improving Lives by Improving Sight’, in a world where 7.2 billion people need to protect their eyes from the sun.” She will take on her new role on April 25.
