Promoting fly-fishing

Fly-fishing club De Kokerjuffer (the case caddis larva) from the Nijmegen region in the Netherlands is active every year to promote fly-fishing at the "Scottish Event" and the "Mookerheide Fair" which are held around Jachtslot De Mookerheide.

Bert van den Heuvel and Henk Smits were present this year at the Scottish Event on both days and tied flies in the tent, on Sunday Rudy van Duijnhoven gave some fly-casting demonstrations as well.

Bert van den Heuvel tied some nymphs for his son, but both were busy throughout the day with explaining what they were doing to the visitors of the event as well.

Children as well as older people showed an interest in what Henk and Bert were showing and telling, hopefully some new fly-fishing seeds were planted here.
