Flyfishing in Qinling – Backcountry of China

Flyfishing is currently a young sport back in China. But over the years, I see more and more people becoming passionate about it. And the selected few are fortunate enough to explore the backcountry of China, chasing beautiful native Lenok trout in Qinling, China, where nature system is still highly intact. We hiked along and flyfished a beautiful stream, where giant panda also inhabit around there.

I’m happy to share this little film, which I made together with some good friends last September. Hope you will also enjoy this short impression about the home of giant panda.

  1. Totally awesome. I’ve been looking for news on trout fishing in China. It’s the best kind of fishing and I felt that there had to be a trout fishery in the mountains of China.
