Owner Semih Egemen last week opened the doors of the new showroom and warehouse of Fasna Fly Fishing in the town of Vaassen. Clients are free to come and shop during opening hours and from here he and his wife Tamara send their products all over the world.

Semih and his wife started Fasna Fly Fishing in the year 2013 in the town of Vaassen in the Netherlands, “Fasna” is the name of the same town when it was founded in the year 891.

 

 

Semih Egemen has been a passionate (competition) fly fisher since his childhood, after being sponsored by G. Loomis / Shimano, he got the opportunity to start his own webshop from the garage of his house. After moving to a larger space twice, he has now created a very nice showroom plus warehouse in the basement of a larger building in the centre of Vaassen.

 

 

His own line of Fasna hooks for competition and general fly fishing for different species, plus his large range of tungsten beads, are still the most important items of what Fasna Fly Fishing has to offer. The new packaging for the hooks contains a barcode as well now.

 

 

In the last few years this has been expanded with dubbing, booby eyes, gelcore, feathers etc. under his own brand. More products are sure to follow.

 

 

International fame

The brand is quickly gaining international fame through the quality of the products, Fasna Fly Fishing has a stand at many international fly fairs and the products are sold through other shops as well in countries in Europe, the USA, South Africa and Canada.

 

 

Through the webshop the Fasna products are send to customers all over the globe.

 

 

Fly rods for nymph fishing by Cortland and general fly rods by Guideline plus a wide range of fly lines are available in the shop.

 

 

There is some Guideline clothing (waders, jackets, wading boots) available now too.

 

 

A wide and colourful range of tying thread and tying materials by Textreme.

 

 

Fluorocarbon and indicator material by Cortland.

 

 

A wide range of reservoir flies is available through the shop and webshop as well.

 

 

Much sought after Coq de Leon feathers and Polish quills in different colours.
