Of course it is not yet clear what, if any, measures will be necessary for visiting the EWF, but the positive experience with the autumn EWF shows that a successful show is possible under Corona regulations.

Very good is that the EWF will, as usual, take place over the full area of the Fürstenfeld Event Forum and monastery grounds. That means, in detail:
The exhibition areas of the Stadtsaal, the Foyer, and the Tenne will be filled with exhibitors, well-known and prized brands and products, as well as travel agents, owners of lodges, clubs with fly fishing waters, artists, and much more to warm the fly fisher’s heart.

The very popular casting demonstrations will again take place at the large casting pool. Thibaut Giband – Scott/Scientific Anglers, Jan Kubala and Pino Messina – Vision, Glenda Powell and Ian Gordon – Cadence (A new brand at the EWF — the first demo rods were already presented last autumn), Christopher Rownes – Guideline, Trond Syrstad – LTS, Klaus Frimor – Loop, and, for the first time, Stanislav Mankov from Bulgaria. More to follow.

Very popular last fall were the casting and test stations of the individual exhibitors on the outdoor show grounds and those will be continued in the same format this spring.

Good news about the corona situation in Germany

On February 16, the government in Germany decided to phase out most of the corona measures. From March 20, only “basic protection” such as masks and distance should remain. We are therefore looking forward to a successful EWF.

After the two years’ break of the EWF, Hans-Ruedi Hebeisen from Switzerland will also be at the 17th EWF!
