First results of German Open Fly Tying Championship announced during EWF.

 

On the Sunday of the 19th Experience the World of Fly Fishing (EWF), which was held on the 13th and 14th of April in Fürstenfeldbruck near Munich, the winners of the German Open Fly Tying Championship 2024 were announced.

On the Friday before the show the jury, consisting of Igor Stancev, Nadica Stanceva, Peter Kunz and Gerd-Peter Wieditz, carefully examined the many dozens of flies that were send in for this competition. Erwin Tibad and Aihan Sali-Oglou had gathered all the entries and made sure that everything went nicely and smoothly.

The 17th German Open Fly Tying Championship 2024 was sponsored by the Experience the World of Fly Fishing.
