Ahrex – Crawl Daddy Crayfish – by Jake Villwock

In this video we have the skillled flyfisher and flytyer Jake Villwock owner of the shop Relentless Flyfishing to demonstrate one of his favourite “must-have” patterns from his flybox. The Crawl Daddy Crayfish is a beautiful crayfish patterns for smallmouth bass but it also works excellent as an imitation for mantis shrimp for ex. redfish. This little fly has a lot of movement due to the articulated construction and the combination of a heavy head-part and a more floating back part with a small amount of foam, that balances this fly perfectly and really can get the attention from the smallmouth bass.
