The Saturday started a lot more busy in the fishing section at the Hohe Jagd und Fischerei compared with the previous two days, which is normal for a show like this. This coming week is a holiday week in Austria, the Salzburg area is a popular destination, so getting to the show could be a bit troublesome.
With over 14.000 visitors the numbers of anglers and flyfishers that visited the Angeln 2019 show in Duisburg was something like twenty percent higher compared with 2018!
Angeln 2019 has a tradition of being the first angling show of the new year in the west of Europe, because of this it attracts thousands of visitors every year.
The next Experience the World of Fly Fishing (EWF), on the 6th and 7th of April 2019, will see – among other – two well known Dutch flycasters giving demonstrations at the large flycasting pool.
