This is the fiftieth year that the largest water-sport show in the world, boot D\u00fcsseldorf, is being held. And when the weather circumstances do not become too difficult, it promises to become a very successful show again.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Navico stand numerous new products by brands like Lowrance, Simrad and B&G could be looked at, like these new Lowrance HDS apparatus that, in the larger sizes, are great to build into a boat\u2019s cockpit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Elite2 apparatus by Lowrance, the brand will also bring new ship\u2019s radios on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the \u201csportfishing centre\u201d Pascal Wessel (www.dicht-am-fisch.de<\/a>) holds a presentation on fishing with a belly boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timo Seufert (www.lachsproject.de<\/a>) held a presentation on the re-introduction of salmon in rivers that flow into the Rhine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The large birthday cake to celebrate the many years in business is cut to pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At boot D\u00fcsseldorf the new Eelex 6500 electric boat of the Swedish firm X Shore was introduced to the press and some other people that were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the special model of the boat and the powerful electric engine, the boat can reach a speed of up to 40 knots, at a lower speed it is possible to travel up to 100 nautical miles on a single battery load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
