\nSimon Barnes started fishing with his grandmother at the age of seven. From catching with his hands he soon moved on to worms and fly fishing. <\/strong>This passion for trout led him away from his father’s profession as a doctor to farming trout.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All the while he repaired his own rods or made them for friends. After retiring from trout farming these friends suggested making custom fly rods for sale – Simba Rods was born and are now found all over the world.<\/p>\n
