The final of the Dutch Championship Fly-Fishing was fished on the trout lake Baggelhuizen near Assen.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Cor van de Wal was until now the only fly-fisher who was four times Dutch Champion. Until Sunday the 10th of November that is, as Peter Elberse is in this remarkable position now too.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ren\u00e9 Koops was able to land five trout. He was dependent on other competition fly-fishers to become Dutch Champion this day.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Long casts were needed, but there was not always enough room for long back casts.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Bram Zanis ended in third place in the results for the day with three trout.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Peter Elberse managed to land three trout as well, his second place in the final was enough in the end to become Dutch Champion 2019.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It was quite nice in the sun, in the shadow it was a lot cooler.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Tino Groentjes managed to land a nice trout towards the end of the competition, after loosing three fish close to the net in earlier sessions.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It was a case of remaining focussed. In the end fifteen fly-fishers were not able to land any trout.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Peter Vroegindeweij was able to land two trout in the last few sessions.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The last fish he hooked just ten seconds before the last signal\u2026<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Team De Buzzer ended in second place in 2019 with 154 points, Team Limburg ended in third place with 156 points.<\/p>\n

The Dutch Championship in Fly-Fishing was organised by the Dutch Federation of Fly Fishers (VNV) and Sportvisserij Nederland. All results are preliminary.<\/p>\n
