During Covid 19 long distance fishing trips are out of the question for a lot of fly-fishermen. For Dutch and Belgium fly-fishers Normandy is only a few hours driving and is full of surprises!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tranquil Moulin de Chaise Dieu estate stretches over twelve hectares (29.6 acres) and three kilometres of river: Lakes Emilie and Nessy are connected to five other ponds and constantly being fed by the pure water of the River Iton.<\/p>\n

The site is open year round and offers a variety of options for fishing enthusiasts. The lakes are good for steamer and wet flies fishing. In the creeks you obtain the best results with Chironomid or dry fly fishing, especially when a slight breeze causes the surface of the lake to ripple. The river and the five ponds are all perfectly suitable for sight fishing with a nymph. It\u2019s amazing what you can do with a small emerging nymph! Some whoppers of rainbows over 15 lbs in weight are waiting for you!<\/p>\n

Facilities and services: fishing equipment rental, introduction to fishing (at least half a day), competitions, bar and catering, picnic area, public toilets, boutique, private parking, pets welcome.<\/p>\n
