After two years of waiting, I finally made the long-awaited expedition we’d been preparing for months with Yann, my childhood friend. In 2019, I came to visit Yann for the first time. He has been living in French Guyana for a few years now. As soon as he arrived, he told me about the jungle as he saw it: a dense, impenetrable forest with an unwelcoming appearance.<\/strong><\/p>\n
