This July Sportfish is launching Sportfish Rivers Month to get as many people as possible helping to improve the health of the UK rivers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over 513,000 sewage spills were recorded last year in UK rivers, for more than 4 million hours. None of England\u2019s rivers meet good chemical status and only 14% of rivers meet good ecological health standards. Healthy rivers support fish, wildlife, and local communities. Together, we can help protect them.<\/p>\n
