This is what led us to Alaska, in the remote Aleutian Peninsula to be exact, with a goal not only to catch, but also to understand and experience. Some steelhead runs in this area are known, while others remain completely unexplored. We were lucky enough to spend time on both through travelling between Wildman and Hoodoo\u2019s Sandy River lodges, and by small bush plane in the surrounding areas.
