Norm works at Los Pinos Fly Shop and guides part time on the San Juan river. Growing up in Pecos, New Mexico, Norm picked up fly fishing at the age of 7 which led to a life-long passion. Norm fished his way to becoming a member of the Us Fly Fishing Youth team, becoming the World Youth champion in 1998. With 23 years of competition under his belt, he has went on to achieve a National championship in 2018 for the Men&#8217;s team and a world championship in 2025 coaching the Women&#8217;s team.
