An update on \u201cThe Pike Fight\u201c in Ireland: IFI are conducting yet another review of the pike and trout management policies. All the work by people from all over Europe in the past has brought us to this and forced them to review their deportation and killing polices in Wild Trout Fisheries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The above link is offered to anyone whom has an interest in this subject. May we yet again ask for your assistance in sending your views in to IFI prior to the 01st of December 2016. The pro killing and deportation lobby has mobilized every trout angler in the country to push for pike management to continue. However using the tourism stick, which has been done since the beginning, is the way forward because at the end of the day the biggest benefit to the communities surrounding these water ways is through tourism and not local anglers.<\/p>\n

All the people that love pike fishing in Ireland would really appreciate it if you could take the time to submit your views on pike management. Even if you copied and pasted your previous objections they will be seen by new eyes. The review board are apparently comprised of non blinkered members!!!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
