Leen Huisman has been a teacher for many years, a point that became apparent right from the start of the presentation.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The presentation was organized by the RANO (section of the Dutch Federation of Fly-Fishers) at the S10 Zalencentrum in Zwolle and it was visited by some thirty interested fly-fishers and rod-builders.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Building a single splitcane rod will take at least forty hours, but they surely have their advantages in the lighter line classes.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Some literature for the rod-builder.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"Measuring
Measuring and figuring out the best tapers are an important part of creating top-rods.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Leen has been building fly-reels from titanium for a good many years now!<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"A
A fly-reel that has been used on saltwater to fly-fish for seatrout for some thirty years now, the salty environment does not seem to have an influence on the L.H. Design fly-reel.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
