An international fly fisherman, who has represented his country at the sport, has taken up a senior role at one of the world\u2019s best known angling and outdoor sports stores.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nick Hart, who has 18 years of experience in the industry, has been named as Fishing Manager at Farlows, the high-end supplier of fly tackle and shooting equipment, based in London\u2019s exclusive Pall Mall. A former guide, he has worked extensively across the globe in countries that include Argentina, Spain, Namibia, Angola, New Zealand and the Bahamas.<\/p>\n

In addition to running his own guiding and tuition business alongside a trout fishery and retail operation in the south-west of England, Hart is well known on the fly fishing circuit, having appeared on television programmes and in the media.<\/p>\n

His appointment follows the retirement earlier this year of Brian Fratel, who worked for the company for nearly 50 years, most recently as Director of Fishing.
\nFarlows Managing Director Robin Philpott said: \u201cWe are pleased to have secured Nick\u2019s services. He is one of the most complete fly anglers in the UK today, passionate about his sport, immensely knowledgeable and keen to share that knowledge with our customers. He will be a great addition to an already formidable team.\u201d<\/p>\n
