There are some impressive cliffs alongside the Wild Atlantic Way in Mayo, it is always worth to make a stop here to take some pictures.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

With Theo van de Poll and Mario Sanz, I am staying in Mayo and Donegal (Ireland) this week to try for sea running brown trout along the coast there. We are guided by Markus M\u00fcller and Christin Breuker in the first few days, by Michael Patton in the second part of the week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are people fishing from the high cliffs, with natural bait. They hope to catch pollack, wrasse and conger.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The first bay we had a look at was discoloured due to swell and high waves, the second looked clear and fishable. A windforce 5 from the south, coming from your right, made casting the fly a bit of a challenge though.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
