Ten o’clock and the doors to the show have just been opened.
After a very busy second day of the Hengelsport- en Botenbeurs in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, the winners of the “Total Awards” were announced during a meeting with all the firms that have taken a stand at the show. Some 400 visitors to the show give their vote to one of the new products in the four different categories.
Flyfishing is just a small part of the show, which is now held for the 15th time on 20.000 square meters and with 160 stands. But the children (and many parents) love to try it. Making a precision cast with the flyrod is not all that easy…
At the stand of the Dutch Federation of Flyfishers (VNV) youngsters learn to tie their first fly.
