The fly-fishing shop opened its doors in early February of this year.
On Saturday the 26th of August the Fly Fishing Nation Pro Shop held a small show at its location in the old centre of Köln, with several presentations and special deals for the people that visited the shop.

Rolf Baginsky (not on the picture) had some of his splitcane rods at display and he was present too to talk about splitcane rod-building.
The shop has a nice, open atmosphere with an upper part and a lower part at the back.
There are courses run on fly-casting and fly-tying at regular times, one could subscribe for one of these at the front desk.
A nice display of fly-rods and there is art by Peter Perch to be found all across the shop.
The lower part holds the clothing from different well-known brands like Patagonia, Guideline, Orvis, Fishpond, Loop and Vision.
Some of the more expensive fly-reels are securely locked away…
Peter Perch was present too and made some fine prints in the back garden of the shop. Of perch of course…
There will be a film evening around “Una – The One”, a film by Jonas Borinski, followed by some rounds of discussions on the 26th of October in Köln. Look for more information at www.balkanrivers.net.
