The Environment Agency in the UK has published its revised Salmon and Sea Trout Protection Byelaws which came into effect at the start of the year. The byelaws are different from the confirmed 2018 salmon byelaws and reflect the changes made after the Angling Trust lobbied the Agency last year – the key amendment being the withdrawal of Byelaw 13 on method restrictions.
