Tying a TOPWATER PERCH FLY (Crease Cruiser by Daniel Bergman)

The topwater time of the year is upon us! There is nothing like seing a perch (or pike, or asp, or any other hungry predatory fish) hunt down a popper in the surface before inhaling it. In this video, Daniel Bergman will tie the “Crease Cruiser” – a modified version of the classic Crease Fly, famous from PERCH PRO 6.

Hook: Partridge Attitude Streamer #1/0
Glue: Zap brush on
Thread: Textreme Power thread 100-150D
Body: Loco Foam Mother of Pearl
Hackle: Long Hair Holo in Pearl or UV White
Tail: Wave Tail #M Pearl
Eyes: Stick on Eyes 5,5 mm FL. Red
Coating: Gulff Ambulance red or Fluo. Red on the underside. Gulff Flexman as coating
