Late Winter Nymphing TACTICS & Dry Fly Fishing – Fly Fish Alberta

Late winter – early spring fly fishing can be challenging when the sky is bright sun and the water level incredibly low and clear. We fly fish a small river for rainbow and brown trout with nymphs and dry flies. Pay close attention as we walk through various water types casting nymphs – some water is certainly best to focus on this time of the year. We focus on the deeper riffles and pools as we catch some nice rainbow trout.
