Fly fishing for brown trout is one of the hilights of trout stream anglers. Of course, brown trout aren’t all about dry flies and shallow water. In this video Amelia takes on a large, deep, long run early spring. Amelia’s first 2/3 of the big run is all about fly fishing with streamers, sharing her set up and where and how she fishes them – proceeding to catch several nice brown trout. Magic then unfolds as stoneflies are met by hungry brown trout and Amelia’s tactics change up to dry fly fishing. Some wonderful fish come to net to complete the break down of this gorgeous early spring run of a large river.
