The award-winning film Mighty Waters, highlighting Bahamian fishing legend Ansil Saunders, is now available to the public to view for free. This film, co-sponsored by Costa & Simms, as well as the American Museum of Fly Fishing, was originally part of the 2021 Fly Fishing Film tour.
Saunders sat in a boat with friend Martin Luther King, Jr. sharing psalms while Dr. King worked on his final speech, “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop,” just four days before his assassination. “Mighty Waters” tells the story of Saunders who, inspired by Dr. King, “leveled the playing field” for generations to come in the Bahamas through his leadership.
The film has been made possible by Costa, Simms, the American Museum of Fly Fishing & Cold Collaborative.
